Removing Foul Smell From Upholstery

A smelly home can be really embarrassing. Furniture is most often the culprit behind unpleasant smells in the home as upholstery often retains odour.

Here's an easy step by step to help your upholstery stay fresh between cleanings:

1. Mix a solution of vinegar, water and your favourite essential oil (we recommend lavender).

2. Pre-test the solution on an inconspicuous location by spraying lightly and allowing the mixture to dry to test for colour fastness before using on the rest of the upholstery.

3. If all is well, spray the solution on remaining upholstery and allow to dry.

4. Once your furniture has dried, vaccum the area and your furniture will be left with a lovely scent.

If your upholstery has staining or odours from residual stains, book us for a comprehensive upholstery cleaning.
